What are the restrictions on the tickets you sale?

Usually all the discounted tickets have a very strict return/refund policy, being non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Restrictions are applied by the airlines, some of them will allow exchanges and refund, but the penalty might be applied. The fees and the penalties are centralized and controlled directly by the airlines and are subject to change. Please contact your travel agent for the details that apply to your air fare.

What travel documents do I need for my trip?

ALT Travel recommends all the travelers to check with the embassy of the destination country, as well as transit countries directly, since a traveller is always responsible for his/her traveling documents. Travel company is not responsible for any visa and passport issues.

What should I do if I need to cancel my trip?

ALT Travel strongly recommends all the travelers to contact your travel agent/customer support for the cancellation. Any cancellation needs to be done at least 24 hours before the first flight to avoid “no-show” status that will make the ticket/tickets loose its value.

What happens if I miss my flight?

Unfortunately, missing a flight is considered as a “no-show” and ALT Travel agent would not be able to change the status of the ticket back to “active”. Please note, suspended by airline tickets have no value.

Why can’t I book my ticket online? I have booked tickets before already with other websites.

You are not able to book your ticket online, as ALT Travel agent will do it for you, using all the experience and expertise she/he has to complete your booking in the internal system, which is not open to the public. We appreciate your trust and we are here to help you in booking your ticket/tickets for the best available price.

How do I get the ticket I have booked with you?

ALT Travel is issuing all the tickets exclusively in electronic form. They are easy to be tracked online. If you need to get a paper copy of your electronic ticket, please request it from your agent and we would ship it to the address you will provide us with.

What if I need special service, like seat assignment, specific type of meal or an access to wheelchair?

ALT Travel agent will be happy to assist you with any special request you have. Please contact your agent and ask about the seat you would prefer to have/meal or any other request you have. We will do our best to make sure it is provided for you by the airline you are traveling with.

Is my ticket eligible for the mileage accumulation I have or the loyalty program of the airline?

Usually all the tickets issues by ALT Travel are eligible for the mileage accumulation. Please contact your travel agent before paying for the ticket, so he/she can check the airline policy for you and apply your loyalty number prior booking your air ticket.
